Xcelerate Goldens was established in 1990 with the purchase of our first Golden Retriever, Jake. Over the years we have added some wonderful Golden Retrievers to our household and have been very blessed with good results. Through hard work, persistence and careful planning, Xcelerate Goldens has grown into a small yet quite successful "hobby kennel", having produced dogs with notable titles in both conformation and various performance venues, not to mention some of the most cherished companion dogs around. We are home to multiple AKC and UKC Champions, GRCA Show Dog Hall of Fame honorees and extend our gratitude to each and every family who has welcomed an Xcelerate puppy into their home, whether a famous show dog or a cherished household companion.
We are the proud home of CH Xcelerate Dangerously Hollywood aka "Cooper", and are partnering with Russ and Nancy Woods to campaign Cooper for the 2008 show season with plans for performance titles to follow under Nancy's skilled guidance. As a stud dog, Cooper is producing knockout puppies, who have attained titles in the conformation and performance rings, and is available at stud to approved females. In addition to Cooper, we also have several Xcelerate bred dogs working toward their championships, in training for performance titles and a handful of promising youngsters. We work with long time breeders as well as "newbies", so please don't hesitate to contact us if you are considering adding a puppy to your household; however, we do not sell overseas at this time.
On the Litters page, you'll find our plans for the whelping box and news on any current litters. While breeding a litter of puppies is our heart's desire, it is also a very serious undertaking for us -- an adventure that we only pursue when we know that we have the right dam and sire, ample time and feel confident that we are improving the breed. The puppies we produce are the result of extensive research in regard to pedigree, temperament, health, ability and quality.
By incorporating dogs that have passed the health requirements set forth by the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA), including hips, elbows, eyes, and hearts, we strive to produce dogs that are sound of mind and body and exemplify the American Kennel Club and GRCA's standard definition for a Golden Retriever. We are committed to quality vs. quantity and do not breed more than an average of one to two litters per year, maximum. Please note that all companion puppies are placed into their homes with a limited registration and must be spayed or neutered at one year of age.
Please enjoy your visit to our "cyber kennel" and be sure to contact us if you have any questions. Thank you for visiting and come back again!
